Shorter and shorter period for new vehicle development is required in order to keep up with ever-changing market trends. KASAI's Planning and Development Division is working to cope with customers' requirements through close collaboration among responsible departments in sharing digital data in consistent flow from concept planning, design, developmental experiment up to tooling design to name a few. In addition, KASAI is proceeding with proposal-type developments such as developing original manufacturing processes and studying recycled materials.

1)Product Planning and Advanced Development
A wide range of activities is covered from product analysis and planning including trend research and comparison/evaluation of marketability up to concept planning and model proposal.

2)Design
KASAI handles all CAD software of customers.

3)NVH Laboratory
Comprehensive development of noise insulation products is carried out through analysis of NVH performance and evaluation of noise insulation performance under vehicle running condition on a chassis dynamometer.

4)Side Impact Simulation
Product performance is verified in advance by simulation.
